Digital Equity & People with Disabilities Resource Guide

Rapid advances in technology are leading to new tools that can help people with disabilities thrive. It’s time to level the playing field by offering high speed internet, and the opportunities that come with it, to everyone. Technology connects people with disabilities to the larger world through building skills, confidence, and connection with others.

  • 26% of people in the United States have some type of disability.
  • People with disabilities in the United States are less than half as likely as their non-disabled counterparts to own a computer.

Digitunity and its Digital Opportunity Network Members, along with other advocacy groups and major companies, are working to ensure individuals with disabilities and the organizations that serve them have access to the technology they need.
